A Frigidaire refrigerator with a cold freezer and a warm fresh food side usually needs an evaporator fan motor or a temperature sensor. That repair is almost always worth doing, and it is not a sign of a sealed-system failure. If the control panel has gone completely dark, a control board or interface is the likely cause, and that's generally worth fixing too. Frigidaire Oven & Stove Top Repair
A Frigidaire oven that heats but never reaches the set temperature often has a bad temperature sensor, the long probe inside the oven. No heat at all on an electric model usually comes down to the bake element, since it does the most work. On gas, the bake igniter is behind roughly 8 of every 10 no-heat calls, and the regulator is the other suspect. Dead burners up top fall under stove top repair, and everything below under oven repair.
Frigidaire Dishwasher Repair
If your Frigidaire dishwasher won't fill, the float switch is the first thing we look at, and we can sometimes repair it without replacing anything. Poor cleaning is often a circulation pump packed with debris. Water left in the tub means the drain pump, the impeller, or the drain line. Our dishwasher repair page covers the rest.
Frigidaire Washer Repair
A Frigidaire washer that never fills usually has a pressure switch that isn't reading the water level, so the machine never asks for water. One that stops before the spin finishes may have suspension rods letting the tub swing off balance. Frigidaire Dryer Repair
Frigidaire dryers that run hot usually have lint packed inside the cabinet or a grounded wire in the heating element. A drum that won't turn points to the motor or the start switch. What's the charge to look at my Frigidaire?+
The service call is $125. For a wall oven it's $145. It covers the diagnosis, and any labor or parts are priced separately and approved by you first.
My Frigidaire refrigerator is warm in both sections. Should I book a visit?+
Call us first. If the lights are on and both the fridge and the freezer are warm, or cooling has faded slowly over time, there's roughly a 75% chance it's a sealed-system problem. On a typical home refrigerator, nine times out of ten that isn't a cost-effective repair. We don't want you waiting on a visit with no cold food storage just to hear that.
The freezer in my Frigidaire is full of frost. What causes that?+
Most often it's a door gasket that isn't seating. It can look like an avalanche in there. The other cause is a blocked defrost drain. We repair both.
Is the repair warrantied?+
Yes, for 90 days. That applies to the service we perform and to the materials we put in.
Does summer make refrigerator problems worse?+
It can. Summer is a busier stretch for us, and the way a home's air conditioning runs in hot weather does seem to affect how the refrigerator operates. If your Frigidaire starts struggling in July, don't wait for it to quit.
Do you work on Frigidaire freezers?+
We repair the freezer section of a Frigidaire refrigerator. We don't service chest freezers or standalone upright freezers.
