What's Wrong With the Dryer?
Noise is the number one reason people call us about a dryer. Heat is second.
Thumping or squealing
Usually the drum rollers, the idler pulley or a worn belt. Some models have no rollers at all, and the drum glides on felt seals instead.
Runs but won't heat
On electric dryers, the heating element. On gas dryers, the gas coils.
Won't start
The door switch or a thermostat is the usual cause.
Getting too hot
Lint built up inside the machine, or a grounded wire in the heating element. We clear it or repair it.

He took the time to explain general oven mechanics as well as the specific issue with our oven not heating, yet managed to be in and out within 1 hour! I called and spoke to David and he was so helpful and honest! I had an older dryer I wanted to get repaired and he advised me to get a new one.
