We repair refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, ovens and stove tops across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, with trained techs and stocked vans.
Repairs for the Appliances You Rely On Most
Licensed and insured, with employee technicians and stocked vans. Most jobs get done in a single visit.
Every repair below starts the same way. You call or book online and give us the brand, the model number and a description of the problem. With the model number in hand, the technician tries to pick up the likely part that morning before his route. Your booking lands in a morning or afternoon window, with the technician's name and a heads-up call or text about 30 minutes out.
The service call is $125, or $145 for a wall oven, and it pays for the diagnosis. Labor is a separate line on the bill. The technician explains what failed and what the fix will cost, and nothing is replaced until you say yes. Repairs carry 90 days of warranty on the service and 90 days on the materials, and a return trip to install an ordered part costs nothing extra.
Some calls end before a visit is booked. If your refrigerator's lights are on but both sections are warm, or a front-load washer is banging like a train is going through the house, we'll tell you on the phone that the repair probably isn't worth paying for. BA has been family owned since 2006, every technician is our own employee, and we work on 15 brands, including LG for everything except refrigerators.
One more thing before you call: if you've already started taking the appliance apart, tell us. Once parts have been removed or swapped, our technician often can't reproduce the original problem or tell what changed, and we can't put a warranty on that work. Leaving it the way it failed gives us the best chance of fixing it on the first trip.
Refrigerator Repair
Cooling issues, strange noises, or a fridge that has stopped altogether. We find the real cause and fix it. A freezer that stays cold while the fresh food side warms up usually points to the evaporator fan motor or a temperature sensor, which is nearly always worth fixing. Water pooling under the crisper drawers tends to be a clogged defrost drain that we clear without new parts. We don't service LG refrigerators.

Dishwasher Repair
Drainage problems, leaks and poor cleaning, plus inspections that catch issues before they grow. Dirty dishes often trace back to a circulation pump clogged with debris or a cracked spray arm. Water left sitting in the tub sends us to the drain pump, its impeller or the drain line. Because a dishwasher costs less than anything else we repair, we'll say so plainly when fixing it isn't worth the money.

Washer Repair
Leaks, drainage faults and wear-and-tear repaired with quality parts, so laundry day keeps moving. If the drum shakes hard and the spin never finishes, worn suspension rods or dampers are the usual cause. One that walks across the floor is often only out of level, which we correct with no parts at all. If a front loader sounds like a train in the house, call before booking: a failed rear bearing is never a cost-effective repair.

Dryer Repair
Heating faults, drums and rollers, repaired so your dryer runs efficiently and safely. Thumping and squealing are the dryer complaints we hear most, and the fix is usually the drum rollers, an idler pulley or a worn belt. No heat means the heating element on an electric dryer or the gas coils on a gas one. Lint packed inside the cabinet is part of our repair; the vent run behind the wall is not something we clean.

Oven Repair
Conventional, fan-assisted and convection ovens diagnosed and repaired by trained techs. When an electric oven stays cold, the bake element is to blame in most cases. On a gas oven, the bake igniter is the cause about 8 times out of 10, and an igniter can glow red yet still fail to open the gas valve, which we call False Glow. Wall ovens are a $145 service call because the unit has to be pulled out of the wall.

Stove-Top Repair
Gas burners and electric elements, repaired so you can keep cooking. On an electric cooktop, a dead burner usually comes down to a short between the surface element and the infinite switch behind the knob. On a gas cooktop, it's typically the surface igniter or the wire harness that feeds it. When several burners or the controls quit together, we check the user interface board and the main board.

Our office is at 7801 Beechmont Avenue on the east side of Cincinnati. Technicians are assigned by area, so the person who comes to your home already covers your part of town. Our routes run from Anderson and the east side to the west side, north to Hamilton and Mason, and across the river into Northern Kentucky. BA Appliance Repair Service provided an outstanding experience from start to finish! Elliott was fantastic, such a lovely person to work with. He took the time to explain general oven mechanics as well as the specific issue with our oven not heating, yet managed to be in and out within 1 hour! The Repair man fixed the stove very fast he was gone before I knew it. I fixed our oven and also gave facts on the oven that can help in the future.

I called and spoke to David and he was so helpful and honest! I had an older dryer I wanted to get repaired and he advised me to get a new one. He explained that once you replace an old part with a new part other parts might go bad and that the average repair cost is close to purchasing a new one at my lower price point!
