No ice usually means the ice maker, and sometimes the water valve. Water pooling in the fresh food section is typically a clogged defrost drain, which we can often clear without replacing a part. If the freezer is cold but the fridge is warm, it's most often the evaporator fan motor or a temperature sensor, and that's almost always worth fixing. GE Dryer Repair
Thumping and squealing are the dryer calls we get most. It's usually drum rollers, the idler pulley, or a worn belt. No heat points to the heating element or gas coils. A dryer that won't start is often the door switch or a thermostat. See dryer repair in Cincinnati.
GE Oven & Stove Top Repair
An electric oven that won't heat is the bake element the bulk of the time. On a gas oven, 8 times out of 10 it's the bake igniter. An igniter can glow red and still not work. We call that a False Glow. On a cooktop, a dead electric burner is usually the surface element or the switch behind the knob, and on gas it's the surface igniter or its wiring. GE Washer Repair
Shaking through the spin cycle usually comes from worn suspension rods or dampers. Sometimes the washer is just out of level, and we fix that with no parts at all. Dishes coming out dirty often means debris in the circulation pump or a cracked spray arm. Water left in the bottom is the drain pump, the impeller, or a clogged drain line. My GE refrigerator stopped cooling. Is it worth fixing?+
Check the control panel. If the lights are completely off, it's likely a control board or interface problem, and that's usually worth repairing. If the lights are on but both the fridge and freezer are warm, call us before you book. That's often a sealed-system problem, and nine times out of ten it isn't a cost-effective repair on a typical home refrigerator. We'd rather tell you that on the phone.
